Abstract
The theory and methods of adaptive noise cancelling (ANC) are discusse d briefly. By theoretical analysis and experimental studies, the ANC t echnique is successfully applied in the straightness measurement syste m based on optical activity. The experimental results of various align ment measurements for long and short distances are processed by the AN C technique, and it shows that the compensation effect after filtering under different conditions is 30% to 80%.
