Abstract
(R/S)-Isochroman-1-carboxylic acid (1) is resolved to its enantiomers and as well as these reacted with 6-aminopenicilanic acid to the title compounds 2. The activity of the new penicillin-derivatives against g ram positive and gram negative bacteria is compared with that of benzy l penicillin.
