Abstract
A novel technique for studying paramagnetic defects in insulators or s emiconductors is confirmed. The employed polarized positrons are good probes for detecting and analysing paramagnetic defects by investigati ng the annihilation radiation. To prove this fact, the temperature dep endence of the electron polarization in F-centres has been measured by e+ lifetime spectroscopy.
