Abstract
A system of sequential injection analysis (SIA) in capillary format ba sed on an electroosmotic pump is introduced. The system exhibits excel lent reliability and reproducibility (relative standard deviation 0.6- 0.8%) for both simple and complex chemical reaction systems. The simpl icity and flexibility of the field-decoupled electroosmotic pump has b een found to be ideally suited for SIA. There is significant potential for miniaturizing the necessary instrumentation.
