Abstract
The sodium, potassium, magnesium, total phosphorus, iron, copper and z inc contents in 10 tissues of geese were determined. The tissues were obtained from both normally fed geese and geese restrictively fed for four weeks after hatching and thereafter fed normally to day 196 after hatching. Differences between geese and mammals were identified indic ating the need to take these into account when these minerals are exam ined in tissues from ill geese.
