Abstract
The encapsulated stannocenes [(C3H7)(4)C5H]Sn-2 and [(C3H7)(3)C5H2]Sn- 2 are isolated as an, air-stable, high-melting solid and an air-sensit ive oil, respectively; their physical properties mirror those of alkal ine-earth metallocenes containing these ligands. The X-ray crystal str ucture of [(C3H7)(4)C5H]Sn-2 reveals a bent-metallocene geometry close ly related to that of [(C3H7)(4)C5H]Ca-2
