Abstract
A new hybrid method for determination of water by Fischer's reagent ha s been suggested, which involves preliminary gravimetric titration wit h crystalline iodine and subsequent direct or reverse coulometric titr ation of water residue or excess iodine. AIL operations are conducted in a coulometric cell with separated electrode spaces. The method make s it possible to determine moisture contents of up to 100%. Relative e rror of the analysis does nor exceed +/-5%.
