Abstract
The first example of alpha-seleno arsonium ylide (3) was reported. It has sufficient activity to undergo a Wittig type reaction, affording a novel method for the stereoselective synthesis of (Z)-alpha-seleno-al pha,beta-unsaturated compounds (5).
