Jm. Lebreton et J. Teillet, MOSSBAUER-SPECTROSCOPY APPLIED TO THE STUDY OF ND-FE-B PERMANENT-MAGNETS CORROSION, Hyperfine interactions, 94(1-4), 1994, pp. 1909-1913
Powdered Nd-Fe-B-type permanent magnets were heated at 200 degrees C f
or times up to 32 days. The evolution of the Nd2Fe14B magnetic phase,
followed by Fe-57 Mossbauer spectroscopy, evidenced the positive influ
ence of both the hydrogen decrepitation process and Co, Nb and V addit
ives on the corrosion resistance.
