Abstract
Melt quenched FeBSn samples of different compositions were prepared wi th three different quenching rates and analyzed by Mossbauer spectrosc opy and X-ray diffraction. In a previous work, the glass-forming tende ncy in this system was analyzed, In the present work, the short-range order is studied and an improvement in the determination of the glass- forming composition range is achieved. Mossbauer spectra were fit usin g hyperfine field distributions.
