The analogue of the O+ ground state in Sn-118 has been observed in the
compound nucleus Sb-118 through Sn-117(p,n gamma) Sb-117 reaction. Th
e neutron decays of this analogue resonance have been studied from the
deexciting gamma-rays of the residual nucleus Sb-117. From off resona
nce excitation functions, spin assignments have been made to states in
Sb-117, on the basis of Hauser-Feshbach formalism. The resonance para
meters of the isobaric analogue resonance have been determined, includ
ing the total, proton and neutron decay widths.
