Abstract
The problems involved in the dissemination of the unit of viscosity us ing reference liquids are discussed. After a look back in the work car ried out in this field at the PTR, the development of the calibration of viscosity standard specimens over the past years and the transfer o f this task to the DKD are described. The prospects for future tasks a nd developments are discussed.
