Abstract
Starting with the most important electromagnetic field phenomena we pr esent methods and technical equipment (field generators) to generate f ields in a laboratory environment. We also describe non-reactive measu ring procedures for the appropriate field quantities. Finally, we intr oduce the main PTB-related applications, i.e. calibration of field sen sors and immunity testing of electronic measuring equipment.
