Abstract
Testing and calibration laboratories as well as accreditation and cert ification bodies have to meet the requirements of European directives and standards. To serve this purpose the PTB introduced a quality syst em which is described in a quality manual drawn up in a modular way. T his quality system concerns the laboratories and certification bodies of PTB as well as the PTB as accreditation body of the Deutscher Kalib rierdients (German calibration service).
