M. Weidenborner et Hc. Jha, OPTIMIZATION OF THE CONCENTRATIONS OF FLAVONE AND FLAVANONE WITH REGARD TO THEIR ANTIFUNGAL ACTIVITIES ON 4 DEUTEROMYCOTINA, Zeitschrift fur Pflanzenkrankheiten und Pflanzenschutz, 101(6), 1994, pp. 662-665
Flavone and flavanone have been tested in the range of 8 x 10(-4) - 1
x 10(-4) mol/l in order to find the maximal activity at minimum concen
tration. In general, flavone showed a higher activity than flavanone.
Up to a certain extent, a linear relation between decreasing concentra
tion and mycelial inhibition could be observed in the case of all four
fungi. However, at no concentration, a total inhibition of all fungi
could be achieved.
