The R(3)Co(11)B(4) (R=Dy and Er) compounds crystallize in the hexagona
l Ce3Co11B4-type structure and belong to the R(n+1)Co(3n+5)B(2n) famil
y. The temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity rho has be
en determined by a four-probe measuring technique in the temperature r
ange 4.2-360 K. The ternary compounds exhibit a rho alpha T-2 dependen
ce at low temperatures. These experimental results are discussed on th
e basis of electron-spin wave scattering in the low-temperature range.
