RETURN TO EQUILIBRIUM - OR WHY WE MAY BE LOSING INFORMATION FROM OUR PHYSIOLOGICAL EXPERIMENTS

Many times when we conduct experiments, we often forget that after the system is perturbed, it usually returns to an equilibrium state, and analysing the manner in which it returns may yield information about t he system. In this paper, I illustrate this fact by examining two diff erent biomedical systems.
