Ds. Chauhan et V. Soni, STRATIFIED VISCOUS-FLOW DOWN AN OPEN RECTANGULAR CHANNEL BOUNDED BELOW BY A BRINKMAN POROUS LAYER, Arabian journal for science and engineering, 19(4A), 1994, pp. 687-696
The steady laminar flow of a stratified viscous fluid down a rectangul
ar inclined channel with free surface has been studied when the channe
l is bounded below by a highly porous layer which allows the considera
tions of Brinkman medium. The effects of stratification, permeability
and the thickness of the porous layer have been discussed.
