Abstract
The particle-velocity pulse on the radiating surface of a piezoelectri c disk is calculated from the specified voltage pulse. The directivity patterns are calculated numerically and analyzed by a spectral method . It is shown that the directivity depends only slightly on the wave i mpedance of the damper.
