Abstract
We have used a CPM femtosecond laser system with an amplifier pumped b y a copper vapor laser to observe the optical resonant Kerr effect in poly (2,5-thienylene vinylene) (PTV) film. The kinetics of the Kerr si gnal have been theoretically and experimentally studied.
