Abstract
It is found that, similar to thermo field dynamics, there exist as wel l Bogoliubov matrices to diagonize the Dyson series in the closed-time path formalism of thermal field theory, contrary to the comment in re cent literature that a meaningful diagonization of propagators cannot be achieved in this theory.
