PHOTONIC PRODUCTION OF B-C-MESONS

The cross section of the gamma gamma --> B-c(B-c)($) over bar b(c) pr ocess is calculated. It is shown that near threshold the pseudoscalar state production is much suppressed with respect to the vector one. At large energies their ratio becomes sigma(B-c)/sigma(B-c) similar to 4. The process of heavy quark recombination dominates in the productio n of B-c(B-c) states. The fragmentation process b --> B-c comes into play at high p(t) values only, while its contribution remains nondomin ant.
