Immunologic phenotype of blast cells has been investigated in 45 patie
nts with chronic myelo leukemia at the stage of blast crisis (BC CLM).
The patients were divided into groups depending on the immunologic ph
enotype of blast cells from peripheral blood: 5 patients - primitive v
ariant, 19 - mixed variant, 3 - lymphoid, 12 - myeloid and 1 - erithro
id variant. In patients with primitive variant blast cells possessed t
he markers of hemopoietic stem cell. In patients with mixed variant bl
ast cells had the signs of myeloid and lymphoid differentiation. In pa
tients with lymphoid variant blast cells with lymphoblast phenotype we
re revealed. Typical myeloblasts were found out in patients with myelo
id variant. Blast cells from the patients with erithroid variant posse
ssed typical markers of erythroblasts. When carrying out the analysis
of immunologic phenotype of blast cells from patients in dynamics one
can note the conditional character of the selection of patiens' groups
since immunologic phenotype of blast cells has been altered in 37 per
cent of patients within 1 month, it being an evidence for the changin
g of circulating pool of blast cells. The notion about the rightful se
lection of immunologic variants of BC CML is discussed.
