On the basis of examination of the influence of laser irradiation of b
lood (LIB) on the growth and metastasic spreading of innoculated tumor
s in C57BI/6 mice it has been shown that laser therapy essentially inh
ibited the growth of Lewis carcinoma, decreased the frequency of metas
tasic spreading and the number of metastases to lung. At the same time
this treatment had stimulatory effect on the growth and metastasic sp
reading of melanoma B16. This is assumed to be stimulated by biologica
l speculiarities of melanoma itself.
