Abstract
We describe a patient with a metastatic liver tumor that showed a cord like shadow traversing the tumor on CT. Histopathologically, this cord like shadow within the metastatic liver tumor was proved to be an infi ltrated portal vein without brood flow surrounded by fibrous tissue. V ascular structures traversing a focal lesion may be seen not only in f ocal fatty infiltration or lymphoma but also in metastatic liver tumor .
