Abstract
In select patients with pancreatitis, pancreatectomy may be the only a lternative for treatment of abdominal pain. Segmental autotransplantat ion of the distal pancreas to the thigh has been shown to be successfu l in preventing or reducing the severity of diabetes following pancrea tectomy. We present the postoperative anatomy and potential complicati ons identified on cross-sectional imaging.
