Abstract
trans-Methyl 5-methoxy-2-(3', 4', 5'-trimethoxyphenyl)-3-methylbenzo-1 , 4-dioxane-7-carboxylate (5) and trans-methyl 5-methoxy-2-(3', 4'-met hylenedioxyphenyl)3-methylbenzo-1, 4-dioxane-7-caroxylate (15) have be en synthesized and modified into a number of analogues of neolignans e usiderin-A, B and G.
