Abstract
An efficient chromium (VI) catalyst cetyltrimethyl-ammonium chlorochro mate (CTACC) in combination with t-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) effects excellently the epoxidation of olefins, oxidation of secondary alcohol s to carbonyl compounds and various allylic and benzylic oxidations. S ome successful stoichiometric oxidations of olefins have been studied.
