A 48-year-old man with a cystic craniopharyngioma developed hypersomni
a, personality changes, memory impairment and thermal dysfunction foll
owing intracystic administration of bleomycin through an Ommaya reserv
oir after partial removal of the tumour. The patient's neurological de
terioration was thought to be related to the toxic effects of bleomyci
n on the hypothalamus.
