I. Yamada et al., DECAY OF MULTIPLY EXCITED RYDBERG IONS PRODUCED IN I10-GAS COLLISIONS( RARE), Journal of physics. B, Atomic molecular and optical physics, 28(1), 1995, pp. 9-13
We have measured the branching ratios for the decay of multiply excite
d Rydberg ions produced in slow I10+-Ne, Ar, Kr and Xe collisions by u
sing the coincidence method. The multi-Rydberg ions are stabilized thr
ough radiative or Auger decay. We report target dependence of the bran
ching ratios after two to five electron transfers.
