Abstract
A three-phase-shift-controlled wavelength tunable optical filter is pr oposed. Theoretical calculation based on the transfer matrix method in dicates a tuning range of more than 30 angstrom. The peak gain and ban dwidth are almost constant during tuning. The side-mode suppression is over 25 dB. (C) 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
