The storage characteristics of the battery, Li/PEO-PC-LiClO4/Li1+xV3O8
composite, has been studied by intermittent charge/discharge and impe
dance analysis during a storage period of 322 days. The dc resistance
and IR drop increase but capacity and charge efficiency of the battery
decrease with storage time. Upon storage a second arc appears in the
impedance spectrum corresponding to both anode/electrolyte and cathode
/electrolyte interface behavior. These results may be attributed to th
e formation of the anode passivation and/or dendrite growth of lithium
.
