Abstract
The major aim of this experimental study was the improvement of hemo- and biocompatibility of microvascular allografts. Comparison of polyur ethane and ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethene) micrografts did not show a significant advantage of the new material polyurethane. When th e endothelial cell seeding method was applied, endothelial cell harves ting from rat fat proved to be very difficult. Therefore, further rese arch on microvessel endothelial cell seeding is planned.
