A microtomographic system has been made using a real time microfocus r
adiographic system and a image digitalizer schedule. The aim of this s
ystem was reaching an acceptable data acquisition time, which was hard
ly reduced compared to traditional microtomographic systems that emplo
y conventional X-ray sources and detectors. Several microtomographs we
re made using the same type of samples used in these traditional syste
ms, in order to compare the performance of the our system (spatial res
olution, density resolution and image quality).
