Abstract
Miniature CsI photodiode detectors were built. Their physical characte ristics were examined. Two probes with the CsI detectors were used for measurements of gamma rays from various nuclides in animals and in hu mans. The applicability and usefulness of the CsI photodiode detector and its limitations will be described.
