Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to give a software program for analyzing a system described by a partial differential equation of parabolic typ e. The system considered is one- or two-dimensional. The analysis is d one via actuator and sensor locations and structures. The program allo ws us to answer the question whether the knowledge of the dynamics of the system together with inputs and outputs is sufficient to control, observe or stabilize the system.
