Aa. Vertegel et al., THE FRACTAL PARTICLES OF IRON(III) HYDROXONITRATE - FROM SOLUTION TO SOLID-STATE, Journal of non-crystalline solids, 181(1-2), 1995, pp. 146-150
Recent works show that the concept of fractal dimension turns out to b
e quite useful in description of colloidal objects. However, there are
few data on the physico-chemical behavior of fractal colloidal partic
les. In the present work, the fractal dimensions of colloidal particle
s in solutions of iron hydroxonitrate and in the products of sublimati
on drying of the solutions are compared. This paper is the first in th
e series of articles devoted to the behavior of fractal precursors in
solid-state processes.
