M. Jurczyk et al., APPLICATION OF HIGH-ENERGY BALL-MILLING TO THE PRODUCTION OF MAGNETICPOWDERS FROM NDFEB-TYPE ALLOYS, Journal of alloys and compounds, 217(1), 1995, pp. 65-68
High energy ball milling in high purity argon of alloys of NdFeB both
with and without additions of Co and Zr, combined with suitable heat t
reatment, has been used to produce magnetic powders with coercivities
up to 960 kA m(-1) (12 kOe). These powders are isotropic and of potent
ial use for the manufacture of polymer-bonded magnets.
