Si. Moon et A. Keyhani, ESTIMATION OF INDUCTION MACHINE PARAMETERS FROM STANDSTILL TIME-DOMAIN DATA, IEEE transactions on industry applications, 30(6), 1994, pp. 1609-1615
This paper presents a step-by-step approach to identifying the paramet
ers of an induction machine from standstill time-domain test data. A s
tep voltage disturbance is applied across the stator terminals while t
he machine is in the standstill condition, and the resulting stator vo
ltage and current responses are measured. The initialization of the tr
ansfer function model parameters is achieved by the Laplace transforma
tion of the recorded time-response data, and the maximum likelihood (M
L) method is used for both the transfer function and the equivalent-ci
rcuit-model parameter estimation. Based on the identified models, simu
lation studies are performed and compared to the measured standstill t
ime-domain response, the standstill frequency response (SSFR), and the
free-acceleration response to validate the identified models.
