The performance of an electrochromic window with a poly (N-methyl-10,1
0-dimethylphenazasiline) electrochromic electrode and indium-tin oxide
optically passive counter-electrode has been tested both in liquid an
d solid-state configurations. Preliminary results, based on transmissi
on spectra and electrical and optical responses to repeated potential
switches between transparent and dark states, suggest the viability of
this device in smart window technology.
