Abstract
We present the formalism and numerical techniques required to perform an Sp(1, R) calculation of the longitudinal form factors. To illustrat e the technique we calculate the longitudinal form factors of the stat es of the ground band in C-12. The form factors are calculated by the generating function method and the results of the calculation are comp ared with experimental data.
