Abstract
The mean spherical approximation for a multicomponent mixture of charg ed hard spheres with sticky interactions in a uniform neutralizing bac kground is solved analytically. When the sticky parameters are of the form Lambda(ij) similar to w(i)w(j) +/- v(i)v(j), lation functions and the excess thermodynamic properties are explicitly expressed through a single parameter Gamma, which can be obtained by solving an algebrai c equation. In the one-component case, an explicit expression for the parameter Gamma is obtained.
