The deep-inelastic deuteron structure function (SF) F-2(D)(x(D), Q(2))
in the covariant approach in light-cone variables is considered. The
x(D) and Q(2)-dependences of SF are calculated. The QCD analysis of ge
nerated data both for non-cumulative x(D) < 1 and cumulative x(D) > 1
ranges is performed. It is shown that the Q(2)-evolution of SF is vali
d for ranges 0.275 < x(D) < 0.85 and 1.1 < to < x(D) < 1.4 for the sam
e value of QCT) scale parameter ii. It is found that the to-dependence
of SF for the range is essentially different.
