Abstract
The author trace back a Dumber of different processes for the thermal treatment of residues to a few process units (eg pyrolysis, gasificati on, combustion) and thus create a prerequisite for balancing the proce sses under uniform points of view which only makes an evaluation possi ble. Introduced are practically ail known processes of the thermal res idue treatment.
