Abstract
The synthesis, characterization, and reactivity of a new tungsten(II) fluoride carbonyl complex in which cyanoacetylene serves as a four-ele ctron donor alkyne ligand is reported. X-ray crystallography revealed that the complex exhibits unusual N=C-C=C-H...F-W hydrogen bonding whi ch controls the solid state packing of this molecule.
