Abstract
The solubilities of carbon monoxide in decane, eicosane, octacosane, a nd hexatriacontane were measured using a static equilibrium cell over the temperature range from 310.9 to 423.2 K and pressures to 10.2 MPa. The uncertainty in these new solubility measurements is estimated to be less than 0.001 in mole fraction. The data were analyzed using the Soave-Redlich-Kwong (SRK) and Peng-Robinson (PR) equations of state. I n general, two binary interaction parameters per isotherm are needed t o describe the data adequately.
