Abstract
In a recent paper, Taguchi claims that the spontaneously arising, polo idal electric held increases the collisional electron heat flux substa ntially over that found in conventional neoclassical theory. It is sho wn that this conclusion is incorrect and is a result of the neglect of the role played by the potential energy.
