Abstract
This article reports the measurement of the ''veering tendency'' of fo ur blind pedestrians over three 15-trial test sessions. The findings i llustrate between-and within-subject differences in patterns of veerin g, and the implications of these differences for orientation and mobil ity instruction are discussed.
