B. Markova et P. Markovsky, DOUBLING OF THE SPATIAL-FREQUENCY DURING RECORDING OF HOLOGRAPHIC GRATINGS IN DYE-SENSITIZED DICHROMATED GELATIN, Optical and quantum electronics, 27(1), 1995, pp. 35-41
Theoretical and experimental investigations are reported on spatial fr
equency doubling of holographic gratings, recorded with two linear ort
hogonal polarizations in dye-sensitized dichromated gelatin. This freq
uency doubling is caused by photoinduced isotropic changes in the opti
cal parameters of the material that depend on the polarization state o
f the irradiating light. The dependence of the diffraction efficiency
on the composition, exposure and spatial frequency of the recorded gra
tings is investigated in detail.
