Abstract
Adsorption and electrosorption of several organic compounds (chlorofor m, phenol, beta-naphtol, benzoic and picric adds) on three different r aw or treated granular activated carbons have been studied as a functi on of the chemical nature of both the adsorbate and the carbonaceous m aterial. A molecular adsorption model is proposed, explaining most of experimental observations.
